NEOSORB (PGLA) polyglactin 910 suture is a braided synthetic absorbable sterile sututre composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Suture is available undyed or dyed (violet).
NEOSORB RAPID surgical sututre is indicated only for use in general soft tissue approximation of ligation, including use in opthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological procedures.
The absorption of the suture is essential between 56-70 days.
